World Autsim Awareness Day

Monday April 2nd was World Autism Awareness Day. The school celebrated this day with various activities. Students were encouraged to dress in blue mufti as the theme was ‘Light it up blue'. The MCU also sold blue iced donuts to help raise money for the much needed sensory room. Classes were briefed on Autism and the implications for students within our school. Some classes wrote letters to the students in the MCU. Also students were encouraged to enter the colouring in competition. There were two winners selected from each class. The winners were:

I would also like to send a special thank you to Woolworths Narellan Store for their support in providing us with the blue iced donuts.  We were able to raise $395 towards the sensory room. Thank you for your support.
