Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school

Clever Koalas
Clever Koalas is our pre-school program which runs from Term 2, every Tuesday morning. Students attending the program are enrolled to begin Kindergarten the following year. At Clever Koalas, students become familiar with the school environment, staff and expectations while making friends and developing the skills they need to have a successful start to their schooling.

Stage 1
Stage 1 had a fantastic day at the Australian Pioneer Village! Students stepped back in time, exploring old buildings and meeting costumed guides who brought history to life. It was a fun, hands-on adventure that sparked their curiosity about Australia’s past.

Stage 2
Stage 2 learnt a great deal when they stepped back in time to see and hear about what life was like for the early settlers living in The Rocks. From digging up artefacts, to seeing the remains of the buildings and listening to and re-enacting stories from the past, it was a fun and informative day for all of us.

Science Fair
National Science Week is celebrated at CEPS with our annual Science Fair. Students and families are invited to an afternoon full of experiments and science-based activities. In recent years students have also been invited to create their own project and put it on display for the community to view.

Bulls in Schools
The Macarthur Bulls A-League team visits our school each term to run the Bulls in Schools soccer program for a day. During these sessions, students share their skills and inspire others through fun, hands-on activities. This exciting opportunity helps foster a love for the game and encourages teamwork and healthy living.

Stage 3 Canberra Camp
Stage 3 camps give students the chance to step outside the classroom and build independence. Through outdoor activities, teamwork, and shared experiences, students develop confidence and friendships. Our Stage 3 camps alternate each year, giving students two unique and memorable experiences. One year, students attend an outdoor adventure camp, filled with activities that build resilience and teamwork. The following year, they travel to Canberra to explore Australia’s capital, visiting Parliament House, national landmarks, and even experience the snow fields. Camps are a highlight of the year, creating memories that last well beyond primary school.

100 Days of Kindy
Students in Kindergarten celebrated an amazing achievement, 100 days of school! To mark the special occasion students participated a range of ‘100’ themed activities including handprint art, decorating cupcakes with 100 sprinkles and making a 100 days smarter crown. This yearly event is always a hit and the smiles at the end of the day are a joy to see.

High Potential Group
Our school prides itself on providing students with a wide range of opportunities to identify and support students with high potential. Every week, we offer high potential students the chance to work on personal interest projects to take their own passions and turn them into deep, meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

Shining Stars
Students participating in the Shining Stars program engage in a dynamic and supportive learning environment designed to foster their talents and confidence. During this program, students were involved in a series of workshops where they can build creative art skills and form friendships.
